As a New Braunfels native, I spent many days playing in Landa Park - racing down the hot metal slides, spinning on the steel merry-go-round, or jumping off the swings.
During the summer, we splashed in the wading area as young kids before moving on to the Springfed or Olympic pools when we got older.
